2021 needs to be the Year of Kindness
While we have been focused on what a disaster 2020 was and hoping that 2021 would be infinitly better, it didn’t take long for the continuation of crappy events to emerge.
With politics even more on the world stage than normal and most of the US citizens cringing at the choas of January 6, 2020.
Right now, our country needs to heal.
There is so much hate, entitlement, discrimination, and greed.
The media shows us everything wrong and what we all need to see is what is right.
Where do we go from here?
How does an everyday person make a difference?
In your community, in your home, in your everyday life..
Choose Kindness.
While it is easy to say kind things online, being kind to someome in person can seem more difficult. We are focused on our daily life, getting in and out of stores or work, and keeping our distance (socially).
One thing that I try to make sure I do when I am out, is to be polite. Thank you and Have a Good Day goes a long way. It may seem trivial but the kind words uttered can help people through the day.
We don’t know what is going on in the personal lives of the strangers we come in contact with and just the small exchange of kind words can go a very long way.
Let us all do our best to spead joy and kindness this year. In our words and deeds.
We need to show our children, who are our future, how to be kind.
We need kindness for our own happiness. Whether you are on the giving or receiving end, a simple random act of kindness goes a long way.
